The Best Grilled Asparagus Ever!

This is a top ten item on my wife’s list of favorites. She especially loves this served with our grilled Salmon Recipe which should be on this list somewhere…

Serves 2-4

1-2 Bunches of fresh Asparagus

Olive Oil to coat (Approximately 1 Tbs per bunch)

Dave’s Original TABO Seasoned Salt (To taste)

Pick up some fresh asparagus from your favorite market. We prefer the thinner ones; the thinner they are the more tender they tend to be. Some people say to bend the asparagus until it snaps and keep the “head” end. Personally, when I pick out the thinner spears, I find I can trim off a couple of inches from the “root” end and the rest is perfectly good. Prepare your grill to cook at a high to medium-high heat. A vegetable grate/basket can come in handy here, but not necessary. Once cleaned and cut, place the asparagus in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Once the asparagus is properly coated, shake on some Dave’s Original TABO Seasoned Salt. Depending on how much you love the seasoning will determine how much to add, but I find a good liberal dose does the trick. Once prepped, throw the asparagus on the grill. If not using a basket, make sure to keep the asparagus perpendicular to the grates on your grill or you will lose all that tasty goodness right into the fire! Let cook for 2-3 minutes per side, flip them over once and serve them up nice and hot!

Enjoy!
